Welcome to my photographic weblog. Cameras have been a hobby for 67 years, and I have tried almost every format. Digital interests began about eight years ago, and that is now the only medium I use, and the Web is my only method of display. It is wonderful being able to share images immediately and everywhere.

This blog template was designed to be as simple as possible and readable with many browsers. It behaves like a circular slide tray, rotating both directions with the left and right buttons. The current day is always displayed whenever you connect.

Instead of the usual blog comments, I offer Twitter. Please join and make me your Twitter Friend, so that we can share our hobbies of photography, birdwatching, canal walks, and hometown history.

Much has happened since this self-portrait was taken with my first one-megapixel camera, which I still occasionally use. Today, it is more often a Casio EX-Z50 or a Canon S40, and I recently switched my computer to a 2.0 GHz MacBook and a 20-inch Cinema Display.
