Once a username and password are saved for a Web page, it becomes
permanent until removed, and the dialog box may never show again.
Therefore, to change your username or password, the remembered data
must first be deleted by one of the following methods.

SAFARI for Macintosh

1. Pull down the "Safari" menu and select "Reset Safari..."
2. Click a check mark into [x] Remove saved names and passwords
3. Remove other check marks [ ] that should not apply
4. Click the "Reset" button

CAMINO for Macintosh

1. Pull down the "Camino" menu and select "Reset Camino..."
2. Notice that this affects more than passwords, no choices
3. Click the "Reset Camino" button

FIREFOX for Macintosh

   1. Pull down the "Firefox" menu and select "Preferences"
   2. Click the "Privacy" tab
   3. Under "Private Data," click the "Settings" button
   4. Click a check mark into [x] Saved passwords
   5. Click a check mark into [x] Authenticated sessions
   5. Remove other check marks [ ] that should not apply
   6. Click the "OK" button
   7. Under "Private Data," click the "Clear Now" button

   Once steps 3 to 7 have been set, you need to do only the following:
   1. Pull down the "Tools" menu and select "Clear Private Data"

FIREFOX for Windows XP

   1. Pull down the "Tools" menu and select "Options"
   2. Click the "Privacy" tab
   3. Under "Private Data," click the "Settings..." button
   4. Click a check mark into [x] Saved passwords
   5. Click a check mark into [x] Authenticated sessions
   6. Remove other check marks [ ] that should not apply
   7. Click the "OK" button
   8. Under "Private Data," click the "Clear Now..." button
   9. Make sure "passwords" and "authenticated" are [x] checked
  10. Click the "Clear Private Data Now" button
  11. Click the "OK" button

   Once steps 3 to 7 have been set, you need to do only the following:
   1. Pull down the "Tools" menu and select "Clear Private Data"
   2. Make sure "passwords" and "authenticated" are [x] checked
   3. Click the "Clear Private Data Now" button
   4. Click the "OK" button

It may be necessary to close Firefox or even reboot the computer
to completely reset the memory.

MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER 6 for Windows XP

The IE browser appears always to display the username/password dialog
box each time IE is run. Either the fields are empty, or the required
data is already filled in, ready for you to click the "OK" button. To
change your username or password, merely type over what is there. If
you are using a public computer, it is wise to select and delete all
personal information before you walk away.
