New designs often exhibit initial problems, and I have spent the past few days fixing the way this blog appears on different browsers. Now, I think I have the CSS code figured out so Internet Explorer and Firefox appear identical, and there is satisfactory compliance with Safari and Camino for the Macintosh.
If you have a choice, I recommend Mozilla Firefox, because that is the browser most bloggers use when building their Web pages, and you will then see everything exactly as I intend.
A late-afternoon trip to Kingston and the Millstone River produced this wonderful capture of a Great Egret fishing among the grass beneath the Route 27 bridge. It had been at work for a few minutes, and that gave me an opportuntiy to stealthfully walk a little closer, and then the two ducks suddenly swam past. There was no time to do anything except point and shoot. Any "posing" was done later, at home. This is a distant scene, at full telephoto with my tiny Casio EX-Z50, the same camera used for the cloud picture, above.
